I originally had the idea of selling CTR rings online while I was on my mission in Madrid, Spain in 2003. I always wore the CTR ring my mom gave me for Christmas when I was 12, including through my mission and even now! Often, the members in Spain would ask where I got my CTR ring. When I would tell them my mom purchased it for me at the local LDS bookstore, they were always dismayed. The only CTR rings available in Spain were the cheap ones that were sold at the distribution center on the Madrid Temple Square. After hearing members there say how much they would like to have a nice CTR ring, and me having an entrepreneurial spirit, I made a goal to build a website business selling CTR rings when I returned home from my mission.

A close friend and my temple preparation teacher, Joe Hupp attended my "homecoming" talk. After our block of meetings, Joe approached me and asked if I was looking for a job. I told him I was and he offered me a position at a local website building company. When I asked specifically what I would be doing, he told me that I would help people build websites that sell products. IT WAS PERFECT! I knew that I would be able to work at this company and learn how to build my own website to accomplish my goal of selling CTR rings online.

A couple of months later, I had built my first website. HazLoJusto.com sold CTR rings in Spanish, and I was so proud of it. I told all my Spanish friends and they were very excited as well, and purchased some rings. After my friends bought their rings, HazLoJusto.com floundered and somewhat failed due to my lack of knowledge of online marketing (especially in Spanish!). I decided to build the website in English, and created RememberWhatYouStandFor.com figuring it would be a little easier to market in my native language. Even though it was a mouthful, people started buying CTR rings on Remember What You Stand For.com regularly, I was so excited!

As our company grew, we officially formed Latter Day Products, LLC and added a couple other websites, including LDS-Gifts.com, LDSStatues.com and LDSClipart.com. In January of 2009, we changed the name from Remember What You Stand For.com to CTR Ring Shop.com. Even though we have grown, we continue to run the business out of our home and pride ourselves in our quality service and personal interaction with our customers.

Ever since I started this small business, I have loved working with fellow Latter-day Saints. It has literally been a dream come true and a goal fulfilled. It has been so inspiring to hear your conversion stories, see your dedication to choosing the right, and hear of people following the Savior. We thank you and look forward to serving you again soon!
