i've had 3 of theseI have had 3 of these same ctr rings because i would lose them some unfortunate way and i loved the ring so much i always asked for another one. It is a beautiful ring for any finger...i wore it on my middle finger and my thumb. In response to the review that said it gets dull, this is only from natural wear...and it doesn't get "dull" persay...its just not shiny like a mirror after a couple months. It's still a very pretty, bright silver. i never knew of the "plastic coating" that came off...none of the THREE rings i owned had this. You can also buy jewelry wipes...get them at any walmart or drug store...i got a tube of 50 wipes for $4...and use these on this ring to make it shiny like it's brand new again. i do this every couple months with my ring. And coming from someone who has had 3 of these rings in the last 10 years, the black around the ctr never wore off, so i wouldn't worry about it. I also waitressed and had many other jobs where my hands got beat up and other than a couple tiny knicks from really hard hits, this ring will hold up beautifully. It is very strong.
